  • Smarter Print Infrastructure Konica Minolta Optimises Brentwood School

Brentwood School in Essex partnered with Konica Minolta to upgrade its print infrastructure as part of a contract renewal through the trusted assurance of the CPC Framework. Konica Minolta implemented a fully managed solution featuring new

production print and multifunctional print devices, all overseen by the latest version of the PaperCut MF software.

CHALLENGE

With its print contract approaching renewal time, Brentwood School wanted to take the opportunity to upgrade and optimise its office and production print infrastructure, which would include new devices and moving to the latest version of its print management software PaperCut MF. Compatibility with a wide range of devices - from staff mobile phones to student Apple MacBooks and Chromebooks - was essential for the new look print infrastructure.

SOLUTION

Konica Minolta delivered a fully integrated managed print solution, combining an updated fleet of high-performance devices with the latest version of the powerful but easy to use PaperCut MF software. Making full use of follow-me printing (a feature the school has been using since 2011) to re-size and optimise the print fleet and avoid overlap or wastage of resources, the deployment of the refreshed print fleet included 10 bizhub C3351i and 19 bizhub C301i multifunctional printers, along with an AccurioPrint 2100, and AccurioPrint C4065 for its onsite production print needs.
