Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd.’s expert team will bring timely cybersecurity insights to NHS professionals and healthcare IT leaders at HPN South 2025. The event takes place from 16th to 17th October at the Radisson Blu, Heathrow.

With October being Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Konica Minolta is sponsoring the event to highlight and discuss how Trusts can strengthen cyber resilience across clinical systems, supply chains, and legacy infrastructure.

Richard Halstead, Business Leader, Healthcare & Major Accounts, and Leigh Jolly, Change and Information Security Lead, will be available to discuss how NHS organisations can embed the CIA Triad approach - Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (which ensures data is protected, accurate, and reliably accessible to authorised users) - into their cybersecurity strategies.

"With recent high-profile breaches and the National Audit Office’s warning that threats to UK government systems are ‘severe and advancing quickly’, the NHS remains a high-value target and the need for proactive cyber defence has never been greater.”

Konica Minolta is also appealing for healthcare IT leaders to look beyond the high-profile ransomware headlines and to take a broader view of security threats, including often-overlooked threat vectors such as printer security, as well as addressing third-party supplier accountability, and ensuring full adherence to NHS’s new Cybersecurity Charter.

Leigh explained, “Cyber resilience goes beyond asset protection - it demands continuous risk assessment across the supply chain. NHS Trusts must ensure suppliers have robust incident response plans, strong security controls, and proven business continuity strategies that align with healthcare’s critical needs."

Attendees are invited to explore how Konica Minolta can help support their NHS Trusts with secure, resilient, and compliant technology solutions. Leigh added, “Embedding the CIA principles, securing overlooked assets, and demanding supplier accountability are key to protecting care delivery. Cyber resilience isn’t optional; it’s a strategic necessity for safe, uninterrupted, and trusted healthcare.”
