Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd will be helping print businesses to better understand and address gaps in their operational efficiency, during an hour-long webinar, taking place at 11am on 2nd June.
During the session entitled ‘Operational Efficiency in Print: Where Time Gets Lost (and How to Win It Back)’ industry experts from the IPIA, Cambridge Scholars and Konica Minolta, will share their real-world experiences, and offer practical guidance for improving day‑to‑day performance.
In an environment where deadlines are tight and customer expectations remain high, even short periods of downtime can have a significant commercial impact. The webinar will explore the hidden costs of disruption, the pressure placed on production teams, and the steps businesses can take to build more resilient, efficient operations.
Attendees will gain insight into:
- What downtime really costs - from missed deadlines and lost revenue to reputational risk
- How to resolve issues faster through smarter service models and connected support
- Why operator training is essential to keeping production moving under pressure
- How leading print businesses are improving efficiency and preparing for future demands
- How Konica Minolta’s new Service Hub brings these elements together in a modern, scalable approach to service
The session will feature contributions from industry specialists including Brendan Perring (IPIA), Damian Baker (Cambridge Scholars), and Konica Minolta experts Jon Hiscock (Head of Production & Industrial Print), Tony Crosbie (Head of Support) and Jack O'Donnell (PP Operations Lead).
Jack O'Donnell commented:
“Every print business feels the impact when production slows or stops - deadlines tighten, pressure rises, and the cost of lost time becomes very real. What we want to show in this session is that operational efficiency isn’t about working harder; it’s about working smarter. By combining faster fault resolution, stronger operator enablement, and a more connected service approach, printers can build the resilience they need to stay productive and profitable, even when challenges arise.”
The session will also introduce Konica Minolta’s Service Hub, a new service proposition designed to help customers reduce downtime, improve productivity, and extend value over time through a blend of human expertise and technology‑enabled support.
Operational Efficiency in Print: Where Time Gets Lost (and How to Win It Back) will take place on 2nd June 2026 from 11am until 12pm.
