Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd is proud to announce that it has been awarded a place on the UK Government’s Digital Marketplace, for a third consecutive year. For the 12th iteration of the G-Cloud framework, the company is offering 10 services including its managed cloud hosting and software services (Print, SMS, fax and augmented reality solutions), as well as its extensive IT Managed Services portfolio and Remote Monitoring support services.

G-Cloud is part of the Digital Marketplace which is accessible to all public sector organisations, including agencies and arm’s length bodies, to source cloud technologies (hosting, software and support) and services for digital projects. It is operated by the Crown Commercial Service, which is an executive agency and trading fund of the Cabinet Office of the UK Government.

Konica Minolta first joined the framework in 2018 (G-Cloud 10), with an already well-established reputation in the UK public sector, and it resulted in a surge in demand for its newly launched IT Managed Services. Today, the company supports thousands of public sector organisations, with dedicated teams working with the NHS, schools and higher education, housing authorities, local and central government. Recent examples include a project with City of London Corporation that is estimated to save £2.5 million over five years or helping Walsall Council to provide enhanced ICT that is transforming the way public services are delivered.

Jonathan Smith, Head of Public Sector Sales at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd states: “This year has placed a sharp focus on how we need to use technology like cloud to change how we work and the services we provide. Consequently, digital transformation strategies are being accelerated exponentially.” He adds: “Konica Minolta’s presence on the G-Cloud enables us to deliver on our commitment to support these initiatives, by making it as easy as possible for public sector organisations to access and procure the services, software and support they need.”
