Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has unveiled a new employee‑created multicultural recipe book, developed as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to Inclusion, Diversity and diverse cultures. Spearheaded by the company's internal Unity and Diversity employee network, the limited-edition book brings together culinary heritage and personal stories contributed by colleagues across the business, celebrating the rich mix of cultures and backgrounds that shape Konica Minolta.

The recipe book was formally revealed during a launch event at the Konica Minolta Client Engagement Centre (CEC) in Houghton Regis near Dunstable on 29th October, with the very first copy being printed live on Konica Minolta’s flagship AccurioPress C14010S Production Print machine.

Around 25 employees have contributed recipes, with dishes representing cultures including Japanese, Jamaican, Nigerian, Irish, Scottish and Bulgarian. Contributions came from colleagues across different departments, levels and locations, including both the UK and Bulgaria, connecting teams through shared passions and traditions for food.

The book features photographs of each dish, country of origin, cooking times, ingredients and step‑by‑step recipes. A limited run of printed copies of the book is being produced on company’s state of the art production print line at the CEC, showcasing both the creativity of the workforce and the capabilities of the company’s print technology.

The idea originated within the company’s Unity and Diversity employee network group, which focuses on racial equality and cultural inclusion. The concept was first raised by network lead Martin McLean, who encouraged colleagues to share dishes that represent their heritage, family traditions or personal experiences. This passion-led project rapidly grew into a broader collaborative project spanning much of 2026. Additionally, internal sales of the printed copies will also generate donations to the Sickle Cell Society to help raise awareness.

“This recipe book is a celebration of who we are as people and as a business. Every dish reflects a colleague’s culture, heritage or personal story, and together they show the incredible diversity that makes Konica Minolta such a vibrant place to work.” He added, “The project has brought people together from right across the company and it demonstrates how inclusion and creativity thrive when employees are given space to share their experiences. I’m proud of what our Unity and Diversity network group has achieved and of the colleagues who contributed their recipes. This book truly is made by our people, for our people.”
