Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd is proud to celebrate a major milestone for one of its longestserving team members, Account Manager Pamela Barnard, who marks 25 years with the business. Known across the UK channel for her deep industry knowledge and unwavering partner support, Pamela’s career reflects both the evolution of Konica Minolta and the wider print and imaging sector.

Pamela joined Minolta in July 2001 as a Product Trainer, supporting dealers across the UK with sales training, product demonstrations and exhibitions. Her early years also coincided with the merger of Konica and Minolta in 2004 and Pamela adapted quickly, moving into an Area Account Manager role and taking responsibility for her own portfolio of resellers.

Over her 25 years, Pamela has seen the Konica Minolta Partner Programme evolve significantly - from traditional dealer support to a modern, consultative model centred on the company’s comprehensive Client Engagement Centre (CEC) and enhanced training.

This evolution includes operational improvements such as the recently launched next‑day delivery across office equipment, entry‑level Professional Print devices and genuine consumables. Pamela’s work reflects Konica Minolta’s long-term commitment to strengthening partner capability and delivering faster, more reliable service.

Cameron Mitchell

Head of Sales (Indirect) at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd

“Pamela has always worked in true partnership with our partner network. Within our team she’s the go‑to person: knowledgeable, calm, experienced and always willing to help. Pamela hasn’t simply been here for 25 years; she has continually adapted, continually earned her place, and continually made a difference.”

Pamela has supported partners through their acquisitions, restructures and major market shifts - many of whom she still works with today. Reflecting on her milestone, she said “I still genuinely love being part of the Konica Minolta team and I am fortunate to have always found a place here. But we must all continue to adapt - nothing stays the same.”

Pamela’s journey also reflects Konica Minolta’s commitment to developing and retaining talent. Her progression from Product Trainer to Account Manager demonstrates how the company supports employees to evolve, adapt and grow - a core part of its ESG approach to people, culture and long‑term sustainability.
