As well as having our own stand, the Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd team was delighted to join our Elite Plus Partner Aurora’s stand at The Print Show 2025, which was held at the NEC Birmingham from 23rd to 25th September, to meet visitors and present our combined print expertise.

James Rayner, Associate Director at Aurora Managed Services, led the combined stand team and commented, “The Print Show 2025 was again the perfect opportunity to demonstrate Aurora’s expertise in all things Production Print, the latest and best in print technology and to meet the people that make our industry tick. It was great to re-engage with current customers, consult new visitors to the show, and demonstrate how our close technology partnership with Konica Minolta and its well-deserved reputation for quality shows all Print Show attendees our knowledge as a production print specialist. Aurora’s exceptional levels of service, being the UK’s only Fiery Platinum Partner and specialist colour management training and support helps print firms fully grasp the considerable opportunities in the market.”

One of the standout highlights of the show this year was the AccurioPress C84hc with TU-510 finishing unit, which uses High Chroma toner to produce highly vivid and natural colours that are perfect for photo printing. James commented, “Visitors were keen to see what the High Chroma machine, paired with Fiery software and finishing unit, could produce with its exceptionally vivid colours and high-quality booklet making capabilities. We also featured Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress C7090, which delivers an impressive 90 pages per minute and features the IQ-501 Intelligent Quality Care Unit, which is important in terms of fast and automated registration and colour consistency testing.”

Large print-industry events such as The Print Show continue to play a vital role in helping print providers such as Konica Minolta and Aurora engage directly with customers and potential customers alongside the latest and most exciting technology in the industry. Drawing thousands of visitors from across the UK and beyond, this year’s event was another considerable success as James commented, “We were busy throughout and had large numbers of eager visitors to the stand, ranging from those starting their journey in the PPD world seeking consultancy and guidance from us, to experienced customers looking for us to assist in a bespoke design and upgrade to an optimal production print system. It was fantastic to speak to all these people, understand their needs and working practices, and help them take the next steps for the right solution for them.

Visitors had clear objectives at the Konica Minolta and Aurora stands, as James continued, “As you would expect, price continues to be a factor for many visitors, but also the capabilities on offer in terms of speed and media handling, along with options for high-quality production, were also key conversations we had with visitors.” He added, “Another recurring theme was the desire to bring print work back in-house. Businesses want to minimise outsourcing costs, whilst at the same time having greater control over processing and timescales. We put together the right package of technology and support to make it work effectively.”

Partnering with Konica Minolta continues to be a cornerstone of Aurora’s offering, as James stated, “Working closely together provides considerable benefits for both businesses and our customers. We are lucky to have many talented, passionate staff who do take great pride in looking after our customers and a brilliant technical team of experts who help customers understand how they can improve their business. Konica Minolta helps us deliver the build quality and reliability that are essential, their extensive portfolio delivers the technology and features for any application, whilst being a ‘safe buy’ that print specialists can fully rely on.”

Whilst The Print Show 2025 may be over for another year, there are always opportunities to see Konica Minolta’s print solutions in action, both at the manufacturer’s Client Engagement Centre (CEC) in Houghton Regis near Luton, and at Aurora’s Coventry showroom. “For those who couldn’t make it to the event, our showroom is always open for a hands-on experience with our latest solutions”, said James. “We look forward to continuing these conversations and helping businesses maximise their potential with our expertise and world-class support.”
