Dippon Limited upgrades to digital label printing with Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 label press

London, UK | 13 January 2021

Birmingham-based Dippon Limited has upgraded its label printing operations with the addition of a new Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 digital label press.

The new press provides the company with enhanced flexibility in the types of labelling services it offers customers, whilst reducing running costs and benefitting from high quality results, reliability, ease of operations, and first-class support from Konica Minolta.

Based in the heart of Birmingham city, Dippon Limited has a prime location to service its customers, including a great number of small artisan food manufacturers and textile producers. Despite having a solid customer based, Dippon Limited was finding matching their demands a challenge using conventional letterpress machines alone and had been looking for the right digital press for its needs and budget for a considerable period of time before choosing Konica Minolta’s AccurioLabel 230.

Dippon Limited’s Sales Director, Akkshada Shah explained the reasons for choosing a press from Konica Minolta, “We recognised the need to move to a digital press to flexibly future-proof our services, but we needed to ensure it was the right product for our business. This involved considering not only the quality of output, but also the overall investment and running costs, along with the right level of manufacturer support. Having spoken in depth to the team at Konica Minolta, we were reassured on all these points, have been very impressed with the results and support, and feel that we made this investment with the right supplier at the right time.”

Dippon Limited prides itself on utilising the best expert team, for fast, flexible, and friendly professional service to its customers, so the Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 has been a perfect addition to the business. Akkshada adds, “We have a superb young team of print experts, who have seamlessly transferred to working with the new digital press, despite the inevitable changes and improvements in the business workflow. Not only does it remove the need to prepare printing plates (and associated set-up costs and time), but the digital press also delivers great scope to use different print media for a wider range of options for our customers.”

Steve Lakin, Label Press Sales Consultant at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Limited also comments, “The AccurioLabel 230 is perfectly placed to support small to medium print businesses like Dippon Limited looking to make a highly cost-effective jump to a powerful and flexible digital solution, whilst reducing running costs and simplifying the whole process. We also provide expert localised engineer support, to ensure our customers continue to make the most of their vital investment.”

Investing in the AccurioLabel 230 has provided Dippon Limited with the tools it needs to continue and maintain its well-deserved reputation for service and quality. Akkshada concludes, “Our existing customers are highly impressed with the results of our powerful new digital press, and it has already helped us adjust to the rapidly changing circumstances of social distancing, whilst also winning new business. We see a bright future for our business, safe in the knowledge we have invested in the right flexible and cost-effective digital print solution to meet the needs of our business customers well into the future.”
