Konica Minolta enables West Design Products to enjoy greater efficiency and quality with the AccurioPrint C4065 production print press
West Design Products has improved the efficiency and quality of its in-house print operations with an AccurioPrint C4065 from Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd. The high-performance colour production press has enabled the company to eliminate outsourcing costs, achieve faster turnaround times and enhance the quality and consistency of more than 50,000 high-quality prints being produced for its trade customers each month.
CHALLENGE
A significant portion of West Design Products’ stationery range requires printed inserts. These were previously produced either in-house using a compact Konica Minolta bizhub C364 MFD (multifunctional print device) or outsourced to external print providers, depending on quality and turnaround requirements. However, the MFD was consistently operating beyond its recommended capacity, and outsourcing incurred high costs and potential delays in product dispatch.
SOLUTION
Following a competitive evaluation of proposals and printed samples from five potential suppliers, West Design Products selected the Konica Minolta AccurioPrint C4065 as the optimal solution for quality, productivity, and service support.
