A leading producer of organic herbs, spices, and teas partnered with Konica Minolta to transform its label and marketing print operations. With over 900 products and a strong commitment to sustainability, the company required a flexible, responsive solution to support short-run, multilingual label production and diverse promotional materials.

Challenge

The desire to give each of its products its own identity and to make them instantly recognisable has resulted in the herb and spices company developing a partnership with Konica Minolta spanning more than a decade. A spokesperson for the company explained: “We chose to give every product its own distinguishing feature, which meant each product needed its own distinct label. We searched for ways to do that, and it didn’t take long for us to decide to bring colour printing in-house with the help of Konica Minolta.”
 

Solution

With the help of Konica Minolta, the company has rapidly expanded its production print capabilities from a single press to four. The additions include a versatile AccurioPro C4080 digital colour press designed for high-quality production, offering advanced media handling, inline finishing, and consistent colour output for a wide range of applications. A new AccurioPro C4070 combines robust print performance with a TU-510 inline trimmer unit, enabling automated production of finished items like brochures and recipe cards using streamlined workflows to reduce manual touchpoints.
