KONICA MINOLTA PERFECTLY SUPPORTS SOABAR’S MULTI-TECHNOLOGY LABEL PRESS REQUIREMENTS
Labels Solution Provider Soabar Ltd was looking to rationalise and expand its digital label production capability. To do this, it needed to consolidate its digital print technology to accommodate its multi-technology needs within the space constraints of its production facility in Leicester. Having successfully partnered with Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd for a number of years, the company was determined to upgrade its two AccurioLabel 190 presses without adversely effecting output volumes, speed, or quality.
To support its evolving business needs, Soabar was looking to consolidate and rationalise its in-house digital label production capability to flexibly meet the needs of its customers. The company wanted to combine its traditional flexographic capability with complementary digital solutions, whilst ensuring it would work with the physical space available within its Leicestershire facility.
Having closely consulted with Konica Minolta, Soabar chose the AccurioLabel 230 as the perfect replacement for its existing pair of AccurioLabel 190s. Phil Achurch, Managing Director of Soabar Ltd commented, “Based upon our previous experiences of working with Konica Minolta we would happily have sourced our inkjet labels solution from them too had one been available. However, we were still adamant that we wanted to upgrade our digital solution through the company to replace the excellent AccurioLabel 190s. With its increased speed and enhanced flexibility in terms of substrates and applications, a single AccurioLabel 230 has perfectly replaced the previous pair of presses without any compromises on performance or output levels
