DNC SYSTEMS AND KONICA MINOLTA PROVIDE PAROGON GROUP WITH A FULLY MANAGED PRINT SOLUTION AND SUPPORT TO MEET THE EXCELLENCE OF ITS HIGH-QUALITY DINING VENUES
Parogon Group operates a chain of restaurants which require high-quality and reliable print for promotional materials and businessorientated documents. Having previously used a disparate fleet of individual printers at different venues, which posed challenges in terms of servicing and consumables availability and costs, Parogon Group was looking for a highly reliable managed print partner that would deliver unflappable support - even during evenings and weekends. The company chose the expert managed print services of DNC Systems, along with bizhub print devices from Konica Minolta.
As a growing chain of niche restaurants, Parogon Group has steadily grown its portfolio of venues. Each location relies on print for producing promotional materials (such as special menus and promotions, customer notices etc.) and previously the restaurant sites had managed their print requirements directly, sourcing consumables, and being responsible for the printer operations themselves. This resulted in a lack of clarity on spend and the possibility that the print provision could be disrupted by unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, some sites lacked a scan function for copying printed documents.
Having consulted closely with the team at Parogon Group, DNC Systems recommended Konica Minolta’s powerful but flexible bizhub range of multifunctional print devices (MFDs). Working closely with the manufacturer’s team at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd, DNC Systems installed and commissioned 12 MFDs at a number of the group’s sites across Staffordshire. As a fully managed print service, DNC Systems also provides all the necessary consumables, servicing and support. Chris Childs, Commercial Director at Parogon Group stated, “We compared a number of managed print providers, but what really struck us about DNC Systems is its ability to meet our needs when we need them. When we put in a support call we speak to a person and get the assistance we require when we need it.”
