Challenge

A leading IT company identified its requirement for a new Security Operations Centre (SOC) team for its European operations. With its European Security Operations Centre in Hannover, Germany, needing to grow to meet its evolving needs, the IT company faced the considerable challenge of finding the right professional team to support this.

Having been unable to source the talent locally, the company decided to widen its scope and look further afield for the professionals it required. This is when it was introduced to Konica Minolta and its specialist recruiting division ProcessFlows to find a suitable solution.

Solution

Konica Minolta was tasked with the challenge of building a whole SOC team, to cover shifts 24/7/365. Following a consultation process, detailed job descriptions were agreed, and the specialist recruitment team started the search for relevant candidates. Over the next two months all screening interviews were completed, and the IT company was presented with all the suitable candidates, before additional technical interviews were held. It took Konica Minolta just four months to build a fully operational SOC Team, to hire all the required cyber security analysts, and to start training.
