  • Konica Minolta Powers a Smarter Print Future For Manor Mat

Manor Multi‑Academy Trust in the West Midlands needed a unified, secure, and future‑proof print environment across its nine schools. With staff frequently moving between sites and each school operating a mix of ageing and newer devices, the Trust sought a single provider capable of delivering consistency, control, and reliability, backed up by excellent support.

CHALLENGE

As the Trust grew and new schools joined, each brought its own legacy print devices and supplier arrangements. This created a mixed fleet with inconsistent performance, varying levels of reliability, and limited central oversight. Some schools were still operating older printers that had become increasingly unreliable and needed upgrading.

SOLUTION

Manor Multi‑Academy Trust’s ICT Director, Neil Beards, had positive experiences working with Konica Minolta’s print solutions since 2003, beginning during his time at Wolverhampton City Council. Having joined the Trust in 2018, he was keen to explore how a managed print solution from the manufacturer could address its needs.
