Be it in managing and monitoring infrastructure and applications, in providing an external user help desk with live support or in ensuring data security – Konica Minolta has established itself as a strong managed services partner for its European customers.
SolarWinds MSP, the renowned provider for scalable IT service management solutions, is collaborating with Konica Minolta and has named the company the winner of its award “2018 Top Growth Year over Year – MSP” for the Nordics region. Konica Minolta was able to receive this award at the SolarWinds’ Empower MSP event in Amsterdam.
“We are very excited to be able to acknowledge Konica Minolta’s continued growth and the support it provides its customers across Europe with this well-earned award”, says David Weeks, Director Sales MSP at SolarWinds. “Our partnership is mutually beneficial to help drive scalable, efficient and secure IT management to the market. And since we have been working together for quite some time now, we know that we can only expect bigger and better from Konica Minolta as it continues to push forward in meeting its customers’ needs, ensuring advanced IT management along with robust data security”.
Konica Minolta not only sees itself as a service provider but as a long-term partner with a holistic customer approach. Therefore, regardless of the specific managed service implemented, it is designed and established after a detailed assessment of the customer’s vision for its IT, its specific needs as well as set-up with regard to both its infrastructure and available resources. “Ultimately, we aim to support our customers in two ways: we unburden their internal IT resources from arduous, repetitive tasks, freeing them to focus their efforts on tasks that create new value for their businesses. Beyond this immediate scope, however, we see that our SMB customers struggle in particular to keep up with the technological advancements due to their limited team size, aggravated by the skilled labour shortage in IT. We empower them to implement systems and solutions that would otherwise be beyond their possibilities”, elaborates Kieron McDonald, ITS Sales Development Specialist, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe.
“We are honoured by Solarwinds MSP’s recognition of our successful growth as a managed IT service provider in the Nordics”, says McDonald who was handed the award at the ceremony: “It reflects that we already have a strong position as a supplier and that we are further able to expand across the region in this highly dynamic and important business field. It also proves that we are on the right track with our very customer-centric approach”.
Managed IT services are a key business field for Konica Minolta, whose IT operations are currently undergoing significant expansion. Konica Minolta was able to expand its European IT business by 14 per cent in the past financial year to EUR 257 million. The relevance of Konica Minolta as an international IT supplier is reflected that Konica Minolta has been named as one of the global top 100 IT vendors – according to Gartner’s recently published “Market Insight: Gartner Global Top 100 IT Vendors in 2018.”[1]
