Konica Minolta supports the UK mailing industry with sponsorship of SMP Networking & Awards Evening

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has announced that it is sponsoring The SMP Networking & Award Evening, which takes place on 26th September at the Steel Yard in London.



This annual event hosted by The Strategic Mailing Partnership (SMP) - a professional body that represents and protects the interests of printers and mailing houses in the UK - will bring the mailing supply chain together for an evening of industry recognition and to celebrate the best of the best.
 
The UK mailing sector is showing strong signs that direct mail continues to be a powerful channel for consumer engagement. In quarterly figures published by  JICMAIL - the UK provider of audience measurement data for direct mail -  40% of website visits triggered by direct mail converted into online purchases. Year-on-year comparisons found that 95% of mail was engaged with and 30% prompted a commercial action.
