Konica Minolta First Past the Post for ISO 45001

Konica Minolta Business Services (UK) Ltd, one of the first organisations working with UKAS accredited certification body NQA, has successfully achieved the new internationally recognised standard in occupational health and safety (ISO 45001).

Working alongside NQA, Konica Minolta was aware of the stringent requirements needed to gain ISO 45001 certification.

Nick Wright, Operations Director at NQA, said: “This is a great achievement for Konica Minolta, which demonstrated its commitment to the true essence of the ISO 45001 Standard, and we are delighted to have been able to support the company through a significant migration to a successful conclusion.”

In addition, Konica Minolta has retained its certifications for ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environment). Salman Khan, Head of Governance and Environment at Konica Minolta, said: “The work behind achieving these ISO Standards is what makes the difference to our customers. By committing to be an organisation that understands our clients and works to provide quality customer services, sustainability and commitment to health and safety in all that we do.”

“This is a fantastic achievement, which not only demonstrates Konica Minolta’s commitment to best practice and ability to tender for new business, but will help drive effective business processes and ensure all within the organisation are working in a safe and protected environment.”

He added: “With huge amount of input from teams and individuals across the business demonstrating the cross-company commitment within Konica Minolta to achieve these standards and a recognition that this is part of an ongoing journey to continual improvements, Konica Minolta is focused on truly being ready for the workplace of the future.”
