Colorworld Imaging offers a range of printing services including framed prints and photo books. A few years ago they bought their first colour digital press but it wasn't able to cope with the throughput they needed. So they started looking around for something more sophisticated.
After looking, Colorworld wanted to run tests on our machine using their own files with a live production run to see the colour stability. The colours were vivid, with good saturation and the grain quality was excellent, The quality of the output was the most important criteria but purchase price and running costs were also very competitive. We also offered training to their staff as part of the deal.
The installation went well and they were up and running within 24 hours. The new machine fitted straight into their workflow system. This meant they didn't need to change the production environment to run jobs on it. Colorworld found they had minimal downtime. We agreed to an engineer call out within 4 working hours but our team as always arrived within that time frame.
