Konica Minolta and Paradigm Business Solutions bring document digitisation to SL Environmental Ltd

The nationwide specialist asbestos removal and surveying contractor can generate up to 1,000 document pages for a single project, which the company is required to retain for 40 years. As a consequence, the company had accumulated 200 filing cabinets full of paper documentation.
 
To overcome the physical storage and document retrieval challenges faced by SL Environmental Ltd, Paradigm Business Solutions Ltd recommended Konica Minolta’s bizhub C360i multifunctional print device (MFD) in combination with the Filestar Document Management software, to begin a new process of document digitisation. Today, new documents are scanned and securely stored in a single cloud-based repository, reducing the need to retain paper. The SL Environmental Ltd team can search and retrieve documents in minutes using keywords, tags, or metadata, instead of trawling through filing cabinets.
