Corporate Sustainability

At Konica Minolta, we're committed to promoting sustainable development and profitable growth. Our goal is to improve the quality of human life with our corporate activities. We also want to support our customers as they strive to hit their sustainability targets.

Sustainability Goals

We want to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). And since the environment is a core topic; the Eco Vision 2050 (formulated in 2009) is our long-term plan to achieve a sustainable future. This plan, based on our corporate philosophy consists of three major goals:
  1. A global goal to reduce CO2 emissions by 80% throughout the product lifecycle by 2050 compared to 2005
  2. To promote recycling and efficient use of the Earth's limited resources
  3. Work to promote restoration and preservation of biodiversity

Based on the analysis of our organisational context, the environment is a topic of central importance in our activities. So we've defined a set of key environmental management principles, set out in our Environmental Policy.
