Visitors to Northprint can see a range digital print production systems and solutions demonstrated on the Konica Minolta stand at Northprint. This includes the bizhub PRO C6500e designed for heavy-duty production.

Capable of handling up to 300,000 A4 sheets per month, the bizhub PRO C6500e has an output capacity of up to 3,900 pages per hour (65 pages per minute) in both full colour and black and white. Able to cope with media weights up to 300 gsm, the bizhub PRO C6500 provides a full and flexible range of printing choices and is equally capable of printing on paper, card, or coated stock. bizhub PRO C6500e models with both Fiery and Creo RIP options will be demonstrated.

The new entry-level bizhub PRO C6500 will also be on show providing a more compact alternative to the bizhub PRO C6500e. With a simpler paper supply and finishing options the bizhub PRO C6500 still offers a maximum print production speed of 65 A4 prints a minute in either colour or black and white.

Visitors can also see the ground breaking bizhub PRO 1050e production print system with a maximum throughput of 6,300 mono impressions an hour (105 prints per minute). The bizhub PRO 1050e will be shown with the new PB-501 perfect binder unit. The introduction of the PB-501 means that the bizhub PRO 1050e can now output stitched or perfect bound A4 trimmed booklets with covers at the machine’s full rated production speed of 6,300 impressions an hour, ensuring high-productivity for reprographic departments and generating profit for commercial printers.

Visitors can see Konica Minolta systems demonstrated with a range of new workflow solutions to manage the print process and to exploit the full potential of digital print for personalisation with variable data. This will include a new integrated, modular solution for comprehensive workflow management. Functionality extends from web submission through document make ready to print management.
