Milton Keynes UK, 4 September 2007
Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has opened a new showroom and offices to serve the North Wales region at the St Asaph Business Park in St Asaph (Llanelwy), Denbighshire. The new showroom provides over 2,000 square feet of display area for the Konica Minolta range of bizhub multifunctional imaging systems.
Previously Konica Minolta Business Solutions had two sales offices in North Wales but little showroom facility. The new building provides a more central location in the region and will be the base of operations for five sales staff, ten service engineers, a service manager and an office administrator.
Konica Minolta is the only manufacturer of printer and multifunctional devices to have direct sales and service representation based in North Wales.
The current Konica Minolta bizhub product line up ranges from an entry-level 13ppm (print per minute) multifunctional system through to a 105ppm production print system for high speed commercial print applications.
The new showroom will serve Konica Minolta’s existing customer base, which includes several local authorities, North Wales NHS Trusts and many commercial organisations. It will also allow prospective customers to view the bizhub range and to see demonstrations.
Konica Minolta Business Solutions has a strong market presence in Wales with offices and showrooms throughout the principality including Aberystwyth, Cardiff, and Swansea. Commenting on the showroom opening, branch manager Peter Ryan said, “The opening of this showroom facility in a new building at the St Asaph Business Park demonstrates Konica Minolta’s commitment to its customers in North Wales. Konica Minolta is now the number one manufacturer and distributor of true colour systems in Europe* and the new showrooms will allow us to show prospective customers the bizhub range of systems in an environment with all the modern facilities”.
