Nieuwegein, October 3 2005 – Konica Minolta Printing Solutions Europe recently appointed Michiel Zwiers (44) to the position of Manager of Consumables Marketing EMEA. In this position, Zwiers is responsible for the initiation and implementation of the European marketing strategy and the further expansion of the company’s European network of consumables distributors. His tasks include developing marketing concepts to make Konica Minolta consumables more attractive for end users and distributors in all European countries, and supporting distributors in their consumables strategy.

"My primary ambition in this new role is to strengthen our strategic position in the market by expanding our presence in the consumables market," explains Zwiers. "This will improve the accessibility of Konica Minolta products through our channels and for customers."

Zwiers previously worked for HP as European Marketing Programs Manager, Printing Division in Stuttgart, Germany. Prior to this role, he worked for Compaq and Dell.
