Konica Minolta mono multifunctionals have received recognition in the prestigious Buyers Laboratory Incorporated (BLI) Spring 2009 ‘Pick’ awards for outstanding copier-MFPs in the 41 to 69 page per minute (ppm) and 70 to 90ppm speed ranges.
The bizhub 601 was awarded outstanding 51 to 60ppm monochrome MFP and the bizhub 751 won outstanding 70 to 90ppm monochrome. With output speeds of 60 and 75 prints per minute respectively, the two multifunctional bizhubs are designed for high volume black and white print output in busy office or CRD (central reprographic department) environments.
Both multifunctionals offer copy and network scan usage as standard with network print, user box and fax options. Both feature the latest bizhub design of charcoal black livery with white InfoLine and a large full colour 8.5-inch touch screen display that can be both rotated and tilted to suit a desired position.
In addition Konica Minolta received a BLI ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ for the MyTab print driver customisation solution that allows users to save regularly used print features all on one front page of the driver. This speeds up the finding of settings eliminating the need to re-enter print parameters from several different tabs.
For Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK), Malcolm Smith, Group Product Manager, said “This resounding endorsement from the highly respected BLI gives prospective customers an independent assurance of the quality and performance of the bizhub 601 and bizhub 751. We are also delighted to have been recognised with an ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ for the MyTab solution. Konica Minolta aims to deliver excellence in both hardware and software provision for customers.”
