Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has launched the bizhub C652DS, with a duplex scanner for an impressive scanning speed of up to 156 full colour images per minute (ipm), making it ideal for professional document archiving for CRDs, large workgroups and busy departments. The bizhub C652DS also offers printing and copying in colour as well as in black-and-white with high quality and reliability. Together with the fax option, the bizhub C652DS serves as a central communication device for office output needs.

The new bizhub C652DS offers Konica Minolta’s intelligent Dual Scan technology that simultaneously scans both sides of a duplex original as standard and thereby delivers a scan speed of up to 156 monochrome or colour ipm (78 duplex printed pages). Dual Scan provides a major productivity boost for document capturing in large workgroups and CRDs.

In addition, the bizhub C652DS offers enhanced productivity for capturing paper based documents to easily integrate them into existing workflows. The bizhub C652DS includes several applications that originate from Konica Minolta’s bizhub Extended Solution Technology (bEST) open software development platform.

For example, the end-to-end solution Infonic Business Edition allows users to turn their unsorted stored paper into a fully searchable digital database with access for numerous colleagues. The recently awarded eCopy ShareScan application delivers scanned documents directly into most of today’s document management systems and includes document distribution as well as document creation, capturing and editing functions.
