At Procurex Scotland Konica Minolta Business Solutions is demonstrating a range of cost-saving solutions for document processing in the public sector. Today document imaging and management is a crucial part of any organisation’s business processes. Ensuring the efficient preparation and communication of documents within a public sector organisation can save time and money.
Konica Minolta has the resources to meet the needs of very large public sector contracts. Konica Minolta is one of a limited number of suppliers to have been awarded a framework agreement with Buying Solutions (formerly OGCbuying.solutions) to supply photocopiers, multifunctional products and services; print room and managed services. Also included on the Buying Solutions framework agreement is Konica Minolta’s range of software solutions for document workflow management.
Konica Minolta has a comprehensive portfolio of software solutions to complement its bizhub document imaging systems. The marriage of networked bizhub multifunctional systems with software solutions provides total document workflow management. The Solutions Portfolio is a comprehensive range of software solutions including applications developed by Konica Minolta and a number of ‘best of breed’ solutions produced by third party developers, supplied and supported by Konica Minolta. The aim is to cover the entire print management process: origination, workflow, fulfilment and archiving.
Konica Minolta has one of the most comprehensive product ranges in the market to meet every document imaging need. Konica Minolta’s award winning product line up ranges from an entry-level A4 printers through to a 120 print per minute production print system for high-speed commercial print applications. Konica Minolta bizhub colour multifunctionals recently received outstanding recognition in the prestigious Buyers Laboratory Inc 2010 ‘Pick’ awards honouring A3 multifunctionals, with Konica Minolta earning the coveted awards in mid to high-speed range.
With the increased need for environmental conservation, the latest bizhub multifunctional models have typical electricity consumption (TEC) values that are amongst the lowest in their class. The systems switch to energy-saving mode faster and consume considerably less power in sleep mode than previous models. This eco-friendly operation also helps to save running costs and keeping energy usage well within the latest regulations of the Energy Star and the German Blue Angel standards.
For Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd, James Goody, Director of Public Sector and Commercial Sales says, “In the current challenging economic environment for the public sector we want to demonstrate that we can deliver real value with our comprehensive range of document processing solutions. Our bizhub systems with solution applications can radically increase efficiency in the workplace, cutting costs and saving time. We are pleased to be able to demonstrate these award winning solutions to the Scottish public sector at Procurex.”
