Konica Minolta presents two new multifunction laser printers; the pagepro 1480MF and pagepro 1490MF, available from February 2010. These desktop devices offer compact multifunctionality at an attractive price, together with a recent 3% reduction of Konica Minolta toner prices makes them ideal for home offices and small businesses. With their productive monochrome speed of 20 pages per minute, colour scanning and – in the pagepro 1490MF – advanced faxing functions, the printers serve small offices perfectly. The cost-saving eco-mode saves up to 40% on toner and ensures economic printing with a small footprint.

Equipped with 250-sheet paper input as standard, the devices support paper from 52 to 162 gsm and process labels, envelopes and thick paper with ease. As productive GDI printers, the new all-in-ones print monochrome pages quickly in high quality at 600 dpi x 600 dpi.

Flexible faxing is possible with the pagepro 1490MF. Faxes can be sent from the all-in-one and received by the PC directly, taking advantage of the comprehensive address book, while avoiding having to print every incoming fax. The 125-page fax memory can be extended by using the fax-to-USB function so that no communication is lost – even if the internal memory is full. Due to the USB key functionality, including USB-to-print, scan-to-USB and fax-to-USB, the USB can be used as extended fax memory. 

Both the 1480MF and 1490MF include Companion Suite software which provides fast and easy management directly from the users PC making setup of the device with all its settings and storing destinations in the address book easily done from the comfort of the user’s desk.
