Environmental Policy
Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd is fully committed to achieving environmental best practice throughout its business activities.
We recognise that the pursuit of economic growth and a healthy environment must be closely linked, and that ecological protection and sustainable development are collective responsibilities in which businesses, governments, individuals and communities all have a role to play. Therefore we will continue to maintain and improve our Environmental Management System to conform to the requirements of our customers, legislation, BS EN ISO14001and other regulations relating to our environmental aspects.
Environmental Management is a corporate priority and the initiatives of our Japanese parent company and our German associated company are integrated into our UK business.
We seek to educate our staff to act in an environmentally responsible manner.
We will conduct internal reviews and establish and monitor objectives and targets.Our performance will be measured to ensure we met our policy goals as well as compliance with legislation and regulations relating to our environmental aspects.
We will seek to apply environmental best practice when disposing of hazardous and normal waste, promoting recycling and using recycled materials wherever possible.
We aim to minimise the potentially harmful effects of our activities on the environment.
We will seek to minimise harmful emissions and prevent pollution.
We will review our use of resources and aim to reduce our consumption.
We will establish a communication process in order that environmental issues and information is effectively managed both internally and with external interested parties.
We will review our activities and identify plans for potential emergency situations.
